The Hospital Information System (HIS)
project provides a solution to automate and seamlessly
integrate all the processes within various departments
of a healthcare facility. As a result, the quality of
healthcare is dramatically improved through efficiency
and cost effectiveness.
The Government of Malaysia has commissioned SPK Technology
to implement HIS in 14 hospitals under Package I. To date, four of the hospitals have been launched, ie. Hospital Lahad Datu in Sabah, Hospital Kepala Batas in Penang, Hospital Sultan Ismail in Johor Bahru and Hospital Serdang in Selangor. In addition to the above, Hospital Angkatan Tentera Laut in Lumut has also been completed.
