| A dedicated
project management team with wide experience and
an excellent working relationship with the Public
Works Department (JKR) and the Prime Minister's
Department enabled SPK-Sentosa Corporation Bhd
to complete the first phase of the Government
Quarters project in Kuala Lumpur ahead of schedule.

Kebangsaan Berhad (SPK Group) Saiful Aznir Shahabudin
said the physical works for the 700 residential
units of Phase 1 started in March 2001 and were
completed in 30 months instead of 35 months.
He said the project team utilized in-house project
management skills, and coupled with JKR's latest
project management tools such as i-supervision,
pictorial reporting and Primevera-based monitoring
of works schedule, to ensure that potential delays
were detected early and minimized.
