The latest development
would kick off with 600 single-storey semi-detached
houses with gross sales value of about RM90mil,
Saiful said, adding that about 70% were sold during
the soft launch recently.
The properties, with built-up area between 1,100
and 1,600 sq ft, and priced between RM150,000
and RM160,000, come with a double car porch, wet
and dry kitchens, indoor courtyard, attic, and
sloping high ceiling.
"They are scheduled for completion within 18
months' of the launch," he said.
Saiful said SPK would launch early next year
guarded communities comprising 1,200 semi-detached
houses, with gross sales value of about RM200mil,
and 300 bungalows, with a gross sales value of
RM60mil.
"Each project will have a single entry and exit
road, which is guarded," he said.
"Both the semi-detached and bungalow units will
have unique contemporary features and design."
Saiful also said SPK was in the process of finalisng
the master plan for the key commercial and government
administrative centre of Sungai Petani on a 110-acre
site in Bandar Amanjaya.
SPK also planned to complete by the end of the
year the 1,100 semi-detached and terrace houses
in Ambangan Heights launched in 2003 and in early
2004.
